There’s something important about giving voice to the anger that comes when you are hurt by someone you love and trusted with your life. It is a primal expression of self protection, of reclaiming power, of the experience of truly being a victim of another’s actions. Music is a safe place for that and this song takes full liberty to express that experience without shame.
